We are the collective that organises the Anarchist Book Fair Amsterdam. We started in 2017 during the anniversary of the Infokafe Bollox that is hosted by the Anarchistische Groep Amsterdam. The Bollox has a small library that is 20 years old. Because of the success of the first year, we have decided to continue organising the Book Fair with more books, zines, clothing, buttons, publishers, distros, workshop, movies, talks, vegan food and music!
We are actively trying to build an anarchist movement that can resist the violence of the state and capital. In a time where the right is becoming more dominant, it is important to build the infrastructure for an autonomous and militant movement. Anarchist fairs are an important part in this. They are the place to connect to people and exchange ideas, texts, action and propaganda material and our experiences.
